Last night I went to a rather wonderful event at the Royal Albert Hall in London. It was the first time I’d ever had the opportunity to go to the hall and it was a world away from the pomp and ceremony so often associated with it. In the Elgar Room in the upper reaches of the building, the For Folk’s Sake music website hosted an evening called Hush – featuring Mary Epworth, Gerard and the Watchmen and Joe Innes.
I took about 200 photos, and naturally only liked about 25 of them. This is one of my particular favourites, so I thought I’d share.
Mary Epworth performs at Hush, presented by For Folk’s Sake at the Royal Albert Hall Elgar Room. October 21, 2012.

If you’ve not heard of For Folk’s Sake, go check out their website too. To quote, it’s a website run by a group of music enthusiasts who “write about folk, country and roots music – and anything else that we happen to like”. http://forfolkssake.com/
